Davis Advertising is proud to have been chosen as the agency responsible for crafting, branding, including the exhibit logo and marketing materials for Roger Williams Park Zoo’s newest exhibit. For this collaboration, the Davis team was tasked with raising awareness for the new Dragons and Mythical Creatures Exhibit through radio and television scripts, as well as additional marketing assets. Our talented team built excitement by creating a logo to draw in visitors to explore the newest addition to the zoo.
The exhibit consists of over 60 animatronic creatures from all over the world ranging from large dragons, to unicorns, to a kraken in the water under a bridge. In working with the Roger Williams Zoo team on this new exhibit, Davis Art Director Jeffrey Sweet shared insight on promoting fictional creatures without stock photography, as the creatures didn’t exist and hadn’t been built yet, “It started as an illustration, and eventually moved on to an elaborate Photoshop layout. The approved layout allowed for it to be easily modified for various sizes.”
