Kim Iagallo
Kim was just a child when she decided on her future career: an artist in a creative field. And although many children know what they want to do when they grow up, most wait until they actually do grow up before trying to break into their chosen field. Kim didn’t let that stop her, however, and created an ad for Spag’s department store when she was just 10 years old. She stayed true to her childhood dream, earning her B.A. in Studio Art with a Concentration in Graphic Design and a Minor in Communications from Framingham State University. She interned at Davis Advertising while in school and then joined the design team when she graduated in 2001.
Her passion for art is evident in the portfolio of work she’s created in her time here at Davis, ranging from print ads, digital banners and signs, printed collateral and even billboards. She provides each client with artwork that balances a cutting-edge aesthetic that helps them stand out from their competitors with an on-brand look that customers find trustworthy and relatable. With her extensive experience creating designs for a variety of fields—everything from automotive and finance to retail—she knows how to get a message across without over-designing. And that is the true secret to making a powerful ad.
In her free time Kim loves spending time with her husband and children, watching her son play baseball and her daughter dance. When not at the ball field or dance class, they enjoy many different family outings together, including theater shows, Red Sox games, vacations to tropical destinations and eating at restaurants.
