Davis began with an extensive discovery process that included more than 40 stakeholder interviews, employee surveys, and focus groups.
While stakeholders expressed strong appreciation for the organization’s mission and impact, there was widespread agreement that the name Center for Living & Working felt outdated and unclear about what the organization actually does.
Participants consistently described the organization as a trusted guide—helping individuals navigate systems, access resources, and advocate for their rights.
One insight stood out: the organization’s greatest strength is lived experience. Many staff and board members are individuals with disabilities themselves, giving the organization authentic credibility and empathy.
People described the organization not simply as a service provider, but as advocates who help individuals access opportunity, independence, and community.
That insight pointed directly to the strategic territory of access and advocacy.

From this foundation, the name Your Access Advocates emerged.
Each element of the name reflects the organization’s role and philosophy:
Your Emphasizes consumer ownership and self-direction.
Access Represents removing barriers and opening doors to opportunity.
Advocates Captures the organization’s role in standing beside individuals to ensure their voices are heard. Davis Advertising then developed the complete brand platform, including the name, messaging framework, and visual identity.
The new brand positions Your Access Advocates as a modern, empowering organization rooted in lived experience and advocacy.
It provides the organization with a clearer voice, stronger visibility, and a brand identity aligned with its mission of helping individuals with disabilities shape their own futures.
More than a new name, the brand reflects a simple truth: the most powerful advocates are those who understand the journey firsthand.
