Davis Advertising is pleased to announce the awarding of the annual Davis Advertising Scholarship to two Worcester State University students: Communications majors Sarah Leviton and Sarah March.
Leviton and March both received $1,000 towards tuition in recognition of their hard work and determination.
Davis Advertising’s support of Communications students is a natural fit for the Worcester-based firm.
“The scholarship program was started to encourage and support individuals who want to work in communications – and as a tribute to my parents, who proved that with good ideas and hard work almost anything is possible,” owner Andrew Davis said of Marion and Leonard Davis, who founded the company in 1949.
Leviton and March recently expressed their gratitude.
“My education is very important to me. With this scholarship I will be able to spend more time on my classes and less time worrying about loans,” Leviton wrote. “I am very thankful for receiving this scholarship and once again thank you for your outstanding generosity.”
“I know there were many candidates for this scholarship,” added March. “I just wanted to thank you for taking the time and money to help me in my future career.”
