Davis Advertising is pleased to announce it is working with Worcester-based Why Me & Sherry’s House on a mobile-friendly website with an updated brand image. The cohesive look and feel will be service-focused to increase the amount of information about the organization’s programs, while still maintaining its porthole for charitable donations and other opportunities for involvement.
Additionally, the website will be optimized for search engines. If an SEO overhaul allows the organization’s message to be heard by just one additional family in need, the website re-vamp will be considered a great success.
Why Me offers social, emotional, logistical, educational and financial support to families effected by childhood cancer. It is home to several volunteer programs, such as the Cancer Resource & Research Center and the Children’s Learning Center, for mentoring and survivorship programs. Sherry’s House, a division of Why Me, provides no-cost lodging for up to eight child cancer patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
“We are proud to work with Why Me & Sherry’s House to help publicize all the great contributions the organization offers for children stricken with cancer and their families,” said Andy Davis, President & CEO of Davis Advertising. “We hope to continue this relationship well into the future.”
Among its various programs, Why Me currently cares for more than 500 families working to overcome cancer. Children receiving treatment at any Massachusetts hospital, whose families are derived from all over the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, have come to Why Me & Sherry’s House, and their doors remain open for any in need.
