Ben Thaler
My experience within the advertising industry spans 17 years, 12 of which have been with Davis Advertising. The time I spent studying Sport Management and Business at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst has certainly prepared me for the craziness that is the advertising industry.
Within the industry I have held every media position from Assistant to Director. Outside of advertising I have been a Recreation Director of a YMCA, Marketing Assistant at a publishing company, tennis instructor and retail sales at an eye glasses emporium. I have taken something from all of these positions which have helped me in my current role.
Working within such verticals as auto, finance, education, and retail have provided me with great insight into the advertising needs of many of our clients. However devising a creative buying strategy integrating B2B and B2C increasing bottom line subscribers to our major telecommunications client by 25% remains something of which I am very proud.
I try to follow the mantra of keeping things simple. Don’t over-complicate it. Work smarter, not harder and you won’t believe the results.
I enjoy listening to music, playing golf and hanging out with my family and friends. Keeping it simple.
